Dear Friends,
I am running for the Northeastern seat on the Montana Public Service Commission. Your heating and electric rates are set by the PSC. This race may be the most important vote you cast. You need a commissioner who is not afraid to ask the tough questions. I want to be your advocate. I am asking for your support.
During my time in the legislature my reputation was as a hard worker, willing to put in long hours on the tough issues, especially energy, education, and the budget. I want to continue working for you on the PSC.
The PSC is the citizens safeguard to ensure utilities operating in Montana are providing quality service at the best price possible for Montana. The PSC must be a strong voice for the people of Montana in telecommunication and energy policy to promote a healthy economy.
I voted for Governor Schweitzers Clean and Green Energy legislation and against legislation to send your energy dollars to Australia. I supported Montana Co-ops in their efforts to provide low-cost, high quality service.
The federal government is currently debating America's energy policy. Montana, a resource rich state, should enact policies to ensure that our resources work for Montanans first.
